Wango Tango 2005

Got a pair of floor tickets from E-Bay the show is FANTASTIC. We will try to go every year from now on.

The show has sold out more than 70,000 seats. The bad part is it only says doors at 2:30pm on the ticket, not the 4pm performance starting time. Obviously like 20,000 other people, we thought the show would have started at 2:30 and showed up outside the Angel's Stadium right after noon. By the time they started letting people in at 2:30pm, the 20,000 plus crowd were closely packed outside the gate. It's hotter than sonna. I almost never seen so many people together in such a packed area and was worried if anything could have happened. This is definitely a huge mistake made by the organizers.

Our floor seats are the ones almost the furthest away from the stage but it did give us access to most of the floor area so we moved around and got to several places only a few feet from the stage.

Here are my brief overview of the artist and their performance by the order of appearance:
Natalie
The Houston Rocket dance girl is a good show starter with the beautiful package in her tanktop. "Goin Crazy" is okay.

Frankie J
"Obsession" is a great song. Showing the music video on the big projection screen is a plus. I like him.

Ryan Cabrera
Dull but has a few highlights with "true".

Simple Plan
They better set hopes in their fashion design business.

Ciara
She had some good dance moves.

Lindsay Lohan
Her voice was burried by the music. Looks worse in person than in the movies, may be it's from too much party.

Black Eyed Peas
They rocks. They gave a fantastic hour-long performance. Although selling hard for their new Album due June 7, I got my money's worth just for them.

Kelly Clarkson
She's definitely the best singer today. American Idol may drop someone but whom they pick will sing. I like her better in concert.

Backstreet Boys
When Kelly sang her first single, it reminded people how fast she's become a super star. When the Backstreet boys sang theirs, it reminded people who are they.

Jennifer Lopez
The highlight to me is the first song which is the mix of a few of her hits. She is a supper start and gave an Okay performance. Seen her dancing and singing on stage is great.

Will Smith
He's a supper start in the movies. Better stay there. It's sweat of him to bring his daughter and son on stage and tell them "Daddy work hard for all this".

Gwen Stefani
She's the hottest star tonight. Next Madonna?

Ludacris
Don't know what happened, before he came out, there's nothing playing on stage nor on the projection screen. We didn't like his first two songs and started to make our way out.

Pussycat Dolls
Who are they? I don't think they are worth the long line getting out of the parking lot with 70,000 other people, so long Wango Tango 2005.
